The Canadian Home Builder's Association - Western Newfoundland (CHBA-WN) was incorporated in 2003 as a not for profit assocation and since then has grown tremendously. As a local association, the CHBA-WN works as a governing body in conjunction with the provincial association (CHBA-NL) and the national association (CHBA) as an active voice for the residential construction industry.
Membership is the driving force behind our association. A major focus of the CHBA-WN is to work with our members, increase awareness of the industry and create business conditions to increase their success. All members are key figures within the industry and adhere to a code of ethics. Currently, the CHBA-WN have 36 active members which include a vast diversity of the industry from contractors, renovators, suppliers, trade contractors, land developers, manuafacturer, service provider and financial institutes.
The CHBA-WN hosts several events throughout the year including regular monthly meetings, training, Home Show Expo, Best Ball Golf Tournament and varoius social functions. These functions provide a unique opportunity to network, discuss common issues and share ideas within the network of industry figures.
The Canadian Home Builders' Association - Western Newfoundland is membership based not for profit association working in the Western region of Newfoundland. It is the goal of the CHBA-WN to have a voice in setting the future for our industry.
