Networking is one benefit as a member. Networking gives you access and the support of your peers. Your HBA Committee deals with business developments that are important to you. Local HBA Dinner meetings, such as this one, Home Shows, Golf Tournaments and other activities provide excellent opportunities to network your business in your community. Committees and events provide excellent ways for you to participate. Wither you are a new home builder, renovator, supplier, trade contractor or service provider, there is a local, provincial, and national committee or Council that deals with issues that matter to your business.
Information sharing is vital for our dynamic industry. Monthly meeting participation is an excellent opportunity for you as a person in this industry to make important business contact that strengthens your business. “Home Builder”, the official CHBA magazine, features the latest industry news, economic forecast, product information and business management information. As well as the quarterly news paper the National covers industry developments and issues, and Associations across Canada. As well, Monthly reports keep you informed about national issues, taxation, and economic trends of significance for the home building industry these are available online or at our office on West St. Also, just for your benefit the CHBA-WN has a board/ training room that is available to members for meeting space, training, and product demonstrations.
